Located in Central Kalahari Game Reserve region of the Kalahari, the camp is a spectacular base from which to explore the area. The camp is a 50 minutes flight by light aircraft from Maun and has an open - air boma where guests can enjoy a traditional dining experience. All tents and public areas the overlook the nearby open grassland.

Game viewing activities include morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles. The 6 luxury en-suite safari tents with viewing veranda, dressing patio and outdoor showers.

Kulala River Camp is a small tented boutique camp tucked deep in the unspoiled winter African canopy in Khwai Concession, overlooking the Khwai River. It’s a real back to nature experience with a special emphasis on walking and mokoro safaris because of the unique location, everything that you need and nothing that you don’t…that’s immersive safari experiences.

There is no better way to experience a true African Safari than in the comfort and privacy of your own exclusive safari camp. The intimate safari camp consists of 6 canvas tents with hot bucket showers. The two main area tents consisting of a dining area with a small open kitchen with a fire pit for all cooking’s, a cozy lounge area. Solar-powered charging station is available for those all-important cameras, laptops and iPads phones. The fire circle is opposite the guests’ tents, a walking from the river bank, offering and is an extension of the shared lounge area. Its magnetic quality beckons, inviting guests to share an authentic, warm African safari experience with us.

The Khwai Concession is an approximately 1,800 km² area in the northeastern part of Botswana's Okavango Delta. Mopane forests, grass plains, river meadows and blooming lagoons dominate the idyllic landscape, there are approximately 100 mammal species and 400 bird species, which roams in the concession freely.

Chobe Hide, deep in the Chobe, is one of the romantic and intimate camps in Africa. The camp's four class safari tents stand on the edge of the renowned Chobe National Park overlooking the mighty Chobe River. The dinning tent houses a small library and lounge.

There is also a yoga and meditation tent for guests wishing to enjoy the space and serenity of the area. Chobe Hide operates all year round, activities are game drive, boat cruises, mokoro excursions and Victoria Falls Day trips.

Dinning & Lounge Area

The dining and lounge area is the central focal area of the camp, where guests can enjoy a drink, tea or coffee from the tea station. Comfortable chairs and foldable couches offer a relaxing oasis and the charming decor harks back to the times of the early African explorers. The firepit nearby offers a true bush camp experience and is a favorite area to relax while in the camp.

Dinning & Cuisine

We provide 3 meals a day (B/Fast, Lunch & dinner). Dinner is 3 courses with a starter, main course & dessert all served with fine wine from South Africa. All meals and drinks are included. On our safaris we also accommodate a variety of food requests including vegetarian and gluten free. Please make sure that you note any dietary requirements or requests during your booking.

• The main living area includes a dining, bar and lounge area with an open air fire pit overlooking the river with incredible view of the stars. • Fully inclusive rate includes all meals & beverages, accommodation, activities, laundry and Emergency Medical Evacuation cover. • All guests must sign our indemnity form on arrival in camp. • Private vehicles can be arranged prior.

Electricity & Charging

• Lighting and a fan in the tent are powered by solar. The entire camp runs on solar. • There are inverters in the game drive vehicles for charging of cameras and electrical items. • There is also a charging station in the dinning area that works when the generator is on to charge camera and electrical items. • There are NO charging facilities in the tents.
